MASTER CLASSES

Teaching has always been part of my artistic practice. From Alaska to Australia, I have taught drawing, design and the many artistic aspects of kilnformed glass.

Contact me to discuss hosting a class at your institution or studio.

I’ve had the pleasure of teaching at prestigious venues including The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass and the Pittsburgh Glass Center as well as many independent studios. I teach private and small group sessions with accomplished painters, sculptors and printmakers who want to realize their art in glass.

Early in my teaching career, I facilitated life drawing groups, taught drawing and art appreciation classes. For 30 years, I have primarily taught courses in the media of kilnformed glass. The focus of my classes is on the expressive use of the materials and creating glass art based on students signature work. I encourage artists of other media to participate.
